Outer Hebrides

In 2015 John had a weeks walking with his mates in the Outer Hebrides flying into Barra where the plane landed on the beach and then working their way north to Stornaway where they caught the ferry back to the mainland.  At the time John thought it would be a good trip to make in the caterham, catching the ferry from Oban rather than flying in of course.
So at the end of April 2019 the Caterham was packed up with all our stuff and off we went.

1. Off Up North

A quick blast up the motorway before it rains

2. An Extra Day in Oban

We only expected to spend a couple of hours in Oban but the ferry was delayed so we managed to squeeze in a castle or two.

3. The Best Airport Cafe in the World?

A cycle ride round Barra visting the airport cafe

4. Four Islands in a day!

The ferry to Eriskay then South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist.

5. A Day on the Beach

Beautiful beaches, blue skys, clear seas it could be Antigua

6. Even more Beaches

A couple more islands ticked off and yet more stunning beaches

7. Stones

Standing stones, stone circles and stone houses

8. Posh B&B
